It is on sale but I don't accept any bargaining, I guess (hope) nobody will bid for it so I can keep it [smilie=icon_mrgreen.gif]

Re: Can Pedal power supplies cause noise in the signal

You will most likely get ground loops, specially if the outputs of the supply are not isolated and you feed with it pedals both in front and in the FX Loop.

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Totally fair. I occupy the space somewhere between the new tech recording process and the old school pro studio. I run a small home studio where I record myself and others. I'm fortunate to not be restricted by noise considerations. If some band just insists on drum sample replacement or amp sims, ...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Yes you are totally right on that point. The music offering is so huge nowadays because that accessibility that has turned into an almost impossible task to find new stuff that catches your ears. On the other hand it made a bunch of good artists to have a chance to get exposure, but it is a minority...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Well I disagree with you. Even if I think there is a number of people that really live music like you describe, there is also a lot of them that do it the old school way, or in any of the countless mixed possibilities. I just cannot record or jam with a proper plexi sound at home without turning dea...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

I am not lazy, I mean I have lifted weights for 20 years, do Crossfit 4 times a week and have a +200 Kg PR of Dead Lift, so I don't ge easily scared by carrying stuff smilie=icon_lol.gif ... but I suffered many times stages with almost no space to place my pedalboard, had to rely on people with big ...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

I am really considering selling all my tube amps after 3 months with the Axe FX III. I am a bedroom player 100% and it is the solution best suits my needs. So far sold the cabs, still keep the heads basically due to sentimental reasons, but when compare them thru the Reactive Load with the models, I...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Hi, after a couple of months with the AxeFx, I cannot be happier. I sincerely think it is not the typical self justification of an expensive gear, just an honest conclusion. I own three 100W Marshalls and two 4x12s, and barely play guitar thru them anymore. As a bedroom player, that gadget is extrem...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Got it! I haven't had any other of the previous iterations of the machine but this III is unbeliavable. My fear was that, not being a great tone dialer, it would cost me lots of time to get nice sounds .... far from reality, it is really easy. Yet no plans to sell my Marshall heads, but being mostly...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

Well, just ordered the Axe Fx III. All demos so far are just stunning, and I want to give it a try, have 30 days to return it, or always can sell it afterwards. I play 99% percent of the time alone, and never have a chance to record because never like my tone, I do when playing with amps, not record...

Re: Sold my JVM & got an Axe-Fx

I am on the waiting list for the Axe FX III here in Europe, and even if I finally buy it, I don´t think would sell my Marshalls, I´m probably too sentimental .... or I just don´t need the money for now. As a bedroom player, really appreciate the convenience of the new Digital era. Most of my time pl...

Re: Dream Marshall " Successor of Marshall JVM '

I would say my perfect Marshall would be a JVM 410 with:

- External BIAS control, or AutoBIAS like the YJM
- External Negative Feedback Control
- Incorporated EQ, a la Mesa Mark V
- Choke by default
- Some switchable mods (plexi cap, for example)
- A more aggressive Crunch Channel o RED mode

The hair was big, the fashion outrageous and the Marshall sound was about to dominate the music industry. After 15 years with...
