I am one of those that it all worked as it should
mine is still working perfectly!

Re: JVM410H needs endless time to have a warm sound - kaputt ?
My best suggestion, would be to record it from the time you first fire it up and start playing, until you hear it sound like what you feel is the way it use to sound when first playing after only a couple minutes warm up time.... then the next day, go back and listen, then if ya can, post the clip f...

Excellent!! Thanks!!!!
I'm just trying to be as safe as I possibly can! I certainly don't want to fry something..
anyway, thanks! should all set now!
i'll be sure to post back on whatever difference I perceive between these new EH el34's and two of my original Winged C's..

Re: Ready to give up on te EH EL34's..
Thanks for the reply!! if I understood all that correctly, then I DO need to reset my bias to HALF what would be normal for all four tubes (say 35 per Side total).. but also swap speaker outputs?.. I am currently running out of my 1x16 ohm now on my head, into my 16ohm on my cab, so would I switch t...

I hear ya.. if it is Hearing Fatique (Which at this point I am pretty convinced of) I wonder why I seem to get it so easily and often these days? As for the rest of you post, I hear ya that as well, we certainty do often get into a loudness war, which drives me up the wall man.. Anyway, my room is n...

Re: Perceived tone VS recorded tone..
First off, what you hear in the room with two ears and what a single mic hears jammed up on the grill are two totally different things. But also, a mic doesn't lie. It gives you what it gets. So what do you do? Work on mic placement. It's not realistic to think you're just gonna nail it with little...

Perceived tone VS recorded tone..
Okay, now that I think I may have got the bass player to stop disassembling my house one BOOM at a time.. I have concluded that MY Recorded sound/tone sounds HORRIBLE compared to my live, in the moment sound/tone while we're rocking.. it is very apparent, the 57 planted on the grill about half way b...

Re: New to the forum and JVM 215c from Australia
At the risk of sounding like a sales rep for the MXR 10 band EQ.. LOL.. I do suggest picking one up, (or something with similar EQ ranges).. Is it punch you want? well.............. This suggestion and mine can actually be combined, and ALrock makes an excellent point. If you look in the Mod Catalo...

Re: Let the record reflect (MXR ten band EQ)
From reading interviews over the years, it seems that EQ's in the loop have been used by a number of famous bands to tune and/or enhance their tone.
