That Katana does sound interesting! Black star sounds like a great option too! I’ll tell you though, I rarely take a back up lol [emoji23] so far my 2007 Jvm has never failed me. Still original tubes too! Still! Countless gigs and hours of use at this point. Only time it ever gave a problem is if so...

Yeah I used the JVM in the studio tons of times with no cab with the Jvm on standby coming out of the DI out for scratch tracks while tracking drums.
Great feature for this! I would just take the head in the sound board room and good to go using headphones

My best memory was getting an insanely positive record review from someone online that worked at CBS regarding the overall sound of the guitars! Then landing a record deal with it ;) Worst memory was when a pipe burst above where it was being stored and getting a phone call that water had TOTALY soa...

I use the 2nd master volume lol probably already said but by someone but that's what I do. Simple and effective
I also use an mxr overdrive over crunch channel for most hard rock leads

Crazy because my original 2007 foot switch is still going strong! I actively use it every time I play the Jvm too!!
It has survived countless drops, stomps, and who knows what else. It was even lost and returned once.
