Re: Okay...I modded my 205H. And I'm not sorry.

To me, the most important mods are the "easy" ones.

Negative Feedback
Plexi Cap
Gain Reduction
PI Boost

Negative Feedback and PI Boost are really important as well.

Those mods make the amp something incredibly good compared to stock.

Re: Flashback Delay in Front of the Amp

Flashback in front of the amp, with the "2290" or the "ana" mod is sweeeeet. You will need to change the settings in the delay because the mix will need to be very lower than if you use it in the loop. But it works in both places. Re: Pulling 2 of the power tubes / drop to 50w

I found this in TGP forum and caught my attention: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=960800&page=2 HughesP: "Removing tubes from a multi-tube fixed-bias output stage is never a problem. You can remove any number of tubes, and yes, that means you can take one tube out of a two-tube am...

Re: Pulling 2 of the power tubes / drop to 50w

Stupid question:

Two tubes out no problem.

What happen with 3 tubes out? 25 watts Marshall? dead Marshall?

Not that i'm going to do this.... just curious..

Re: Pulling 2 of the power tubes / drop to 50w

I'm running mine at 50w and the volume difference it's very little.

But the amp is more tight at the same settings and makes my life easier for the lead parts. [smilie-rock]
