My bands first single/music vid

Post by dreaded_hope » Sun Dec 06, 2015 5:54 pm

Lurked around here for years but never really posted. Figured I would share my new bands first single. I'm the only guitarist in the band, the tone on this recording is 85% JVM through a cab loaded with V30's with a touch of Mark IV reamped and blended in slightly to fill things up. The mark IV was so opposite sounding of the JVM they complimented each other well to thicken the overall sound. I was pretty happy with it!

Great to see the Marshall fullstack in that kind of videos, normally don't see them in modern metal stuff. I liked the tune, very powerful. Good luck!

Thanks! I love the sound of my JVM! I know a lot of guys playing this kind of music will gravitate towards a more "American" sounding amp like a Mesa or Peavy but I've always loved the sound of most Marshalls and when you push them into a more modern metal amount of gain I feel like they just sound amazing!
