It really cuts down on the kill zone directly in front of the cab so you can actually stand off to the side and adjust your tone. It does this without messing with the sound phasing since in reality most of the "beam" is coming from the edge of the speaker. I've done this on my 412 and it really helped. Total cost for a 412 is $22. For a full stack it would be $44.
