Very good, Mohi! But what I especially enjoyed was the John Sykes tone you got on the follow-up video for the Is This Love solo. I closed my eyes and listened...while I could detect slight differences here and there in the vibrato technique, or timing of a run, etc., overall the tone was close enough I could not tell it from the original. Excellent job!

Thanks guys, Dark Horse, that tone was product of the JVM preamp and a power amp vst, was a nice experiment. I lack the touch of Sykes but on top of that I was told the solo was double tracked.

It was still very close, Mohi. I mean, even Sykes can't play it perfect every time! I just happen to remember every nuance of that solo because it's one of my favorites on that album, so even just a little waver off on the vibrato and I'd pick it up. If it's double-tracked, I'll just about guarantee it took Sykes more than two takes to get them both perfect, so...

I wouldn't doubt it was double tracked, but have never considered it or listened for it. It should be pretty easy to pick up with a set of headphones on, though.
