Anyone ever try mixing in EL34L's with EL34's?

Not optimal, but it will work.
My JJ EL34L sound much better at higher bias than other tubes.

Not sure if it will work without any damage to tubes and/or amp (I've never mixed these two tube types). Biasing might be an issue since these two tubes types might not be matched. Not sure what advantage players get from mixing tube types, but it's your call.

I have used JJ E34L power tubes in my 410H with very good results; biasing was easy and and held their bias setting very well afterwards. There are other brands that make E34L tube types though I haven't tried those yet.
