what difference in tone with different tubes? lets write a list.....
the one i tried are:
jj12ax7: in v1 nice round and high gain tone
eh 12au7: very nice with the strat in v1 and od1 channel
ruby ecc81: kinda dark and not many highs, good 4 cleans

hey guys i tried a 12au7b RUBY this morning and it sounds awesome in v1= lots of bass and mids nice ballsy jcm 800+ tone in 0d 1
i think i just find the perfect rock tone............ BUT.... i'll keep doing experiments

i changed a couple of tubes and now it sounds even better than before!!!:
v1 groove tubes 12at7a
v2 jan philips 5751 nos
v3 jj 12ax7
v4 jj 12ax7
v5 marshall 12ax7 (white ones)

the sound now has more detail thanks to the ecc81 in v1 and it's more fuller than before with the 5751 and the jjs
i reccomend to try this combination to anyone that thinks the jvm doesnt have enough ballS!!!

lol yeah tube changes never end bro. Just when I found the perfect tone either I find a better combination or my tone preferences change and I switch everything around again. I'm hoping soon I'll finally find a good combination that will last me but... you never know and I'm honestly doubting I'll ever be satisfied.
