Hi from Tennessee!

Post by JerichoKing » Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:44 am

Hey guys and gals! My name is Roland, I'm from Tennessee, and I just acquired a new (to me) JVM410HJS head and 1960BV cab. I can't get enough of this thing and really look forward to digging into the wealth of info this forum has to offer. [smilie=icon_mrgreen.gif]

Welcome Roland and until you get to know The Beast, no matter what everyone says,
you DO NOT NEED
1. an attenuator
2. a drive pedal
3. an EQ
4. a noise gate
5. any type of mod

You DO NEED
1. time
2. patient family
3. awesome neighbours
4. a beer

Rock on!

Ditto to that, man. The JVM is all BEAST stock, no mods!!! There are plenty of channels to hone your sound. You can get all the levels of Marshall out of it!! I just added a few effects to the effects loop for solos, you know: chorus, delay, harmonizer, flanger, eq, and a wah on the front of the amp. And the amp's power section has the volume capability to peel paint off the walls!!! I played an auditorium at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio and I had my master volume on about 4.5/5 and was running a full stack @ 8 ohms and it filled the place with sound! They heard me 1/4 of a mile down the road in other buildings! Rock on!!!!!
