Just wanted to show appreciation to one of the best, if not, THE Best, guitar gear forums on the internet. The members on here are not only helpful and experienced they are also some of the nicest. It has become very rare to find a forum with such a large group of members, all so willing to help someone less experienced. I happen to love Les Pauls as I love my JVMs, and I belong to a certain Les Paul forum, initials MLP. That place has turned into the nastiest most unfriendly place. Full of posers. Nobody is the least concerned about music or tone, just bashing others gear or how to keep their guitars as shiny as possible so they can get alot of money when they sell it. What happened to actually playing music, using your gear and actually putting wear and road miles on your gear. Well, the JVM forum is for the musician, and getting the most out of your gear. I may gather info on gear from many sites, but I always come back here, where the experts are, to get that gear up and running at peak performance. So, many thanks to everyone on the JVM Forum. You keep my dream monster rig running as well as, if not, BETTER, than some of the big name musicians out there. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Go screw yourself Hogman. Look, if you don't want to be open to those who obviously possess a higher degree of gear knowledge, then maybe you should be spending your time at the Crate Users Forum.

Um, I mean sorry bro. Just kidding! I agree 100%. This is one of the friendliest forums I have experienced. Real quality bros (and gals). Excluding me of course :)

[smilie=icon_lol.gif] Lol. I saw your first line and said, oh man, what did I say? What did I do? I was drunk, it was the booze talking. Then I read on. Cool. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]. It is great to come here and read real tech talk about gear and improving tone, etc... It's totally different on some of the guitar forums. Most of them seem to be support groups for collectors, which is great, if you are a collector & like to stare at guitars you never touch, inside a glass case. Not my thing though. I like to think of myself as a musician, so I come here, where the real musicians are. Best regards

Me too. I thought MP might have signed a pact at the crossroads and become evil [smilie=icon_biggrin.gif]

I don't visit many forums regularly, this is one of the few for the very reasons you state, Hogman!

totally agree, I think this is one of the most helpful/least rude forums I have ever visited. The people are really friendly and want to help you in a sincere way. I feel that way whenever I ask a question or post a reply. I think we should drink anther one for the Moderators. Even though Lurchhammer seems to have gotten away from us for a while and got a life:), he always was a great help to this forum. I think this forum has become a "small" part of my life. I think the Jvm is a great amp and serious musicians see that. It really is hard to beat a marshall, excuse me Marshall!!! There is still a part of me that would like to milk my JVM for a little bit more, but I am way farther with this amp in finding my sound than I have ever been. Until then I just crank my JVM as often as I can, and I just enjoy this great life we all live just by owning a JVM and sharing what little knowledge we possess.

Yeah it's nice here, even though I have the tendancy to ask dumb questions. Might be because there are just a handfull of truly active members, and a big bunch of people that check in once a month or so. When you have a forum with 1000 posts a day there's bound to be some imbeciles, right? Thanks for the advice I got the past month! Especially the unorthodox tone settings my marshallmellowed made me understand my amp a little more. I was rather disappointed by my JVM untill then! Now its a worthy amp! Gracias.
