Finally Gave in and bought a Marshall

Post by Thedills » Thu Feb 16, 2017 11:30 pm

Hi From New Zealand

Have had plenty of amps over the years, but was never happy with the sound when I tried Marshalls (JCM900s, DSL's, TSL's) Brother has had a 30th anniv head from new, and thought it was OK, but nothing floated my boat. Kept going back to my old Trace Elliot Guitar combo.

Finally got hold of a 210C, and its a beast. Does all I need plus more, and has the tone versatility meaning I can do away with a heap of pedals. Stick with a Wah, Delay & Chorus and rely on the Amp to react to the way I play.

Gibson SG standard + Marshall. Say no more.....
(Just don't tell my wife I have the perfect set up. Might need to look at a few more guitars. You ALWAYS need one more!!)

Cheers
Steve
