One of Blue's Best! Johnny Lang

Post by jeffp » Sat Apr 11, 2015 2:56 am

The wife & I Saw Johnny Lang perform last night at the House of Blues in New Orleans. Awesome! Again Awesome! It's I think four times in the last 17yrs. First was in February of 98. This guy is amazing! We hung around after the show and we're lucky enough to meet him. Took pictures, signed our tickets and talked for a couple minutes. He's a classy guy!

Yep, he's the real deal. He can play his butt off, but the emotion and intensity in his voice is truly one-of-a-kind. Sometimes it can be a bit much, but mostly, he's just awesome. I saw him a couple of years ago here in a smaller theater. It was a great show!

Saw him on the Hendrix Experience Tour a couple years ago. Really enjoyed his part (well, the whole show was great!). However, I don't have any of his music...keep thinking I need to change that!

Kristen Diable was the opener. She sang & played solo with a Gibson 339? Talented newcomer!
