Hello all, I am a newbie (and just introduced myself in the welcome section).

Before posting this problem with my brand new 410C footswitch I browsed around here to see if an answer already exists. Seems it has been discussed a fair bit, so maybe I am in denial given my amp is brand-spanking new (just days old).

Seems the first two switches (1 and 2) on the footpeddle do nothing. Nothing at all. I have tried a factory-reset (which gave the appropriate LED-flicker) but no change. I can't program them or use them at all. The other 4 switches are just fine. This amp is brand new - can the switches really be bad or is there a simple test or solution I can try?

Reading on here it seems this is common-enough problem, but I wondered if there is anything else I can try.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Darin

Other Amps: Peavey, and an old Dean Markley amp (beautiful clean/chorus on it actually)
Guitars:
PRS Custom22 Artist (my main and most magnificent guitar I've ever played)
PRS Starla (fast-approaching my main - just love it)
PRS Santana III (heavy, great great tone, but the scale-length (24.5") 24-fret board just doesn't quite work for me as well.
Plus some Fenders, Kramer, Peavey, Simon Patrick, and a few others

I'd take it back if it's new and you're sure you're doing everything right ...
