New ESP E2 M2 Urban Camo “Twins”

Post by Jshannon3 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 2:15 am

I just purchased another ESP E2 M2 Urban Camo Guitar now giving me a set of “Twins” to be proud of. These guitars are quality instruments, I checked them out thoroughly, there are no flaws that I could see, and none my machine ruler and calipers could find either. The ESP Japan factory has turned out two fine pieces of artwork. These guitars are shred machines, they have smooth action and a edgy feel, with EMG 81s, matched up with a Marshall JVM410H the tones are freakin awesome. Powerhouse distortions and throaty crunches along with a mediocre clean channel make this pairing a match made in heaven.
I finally got my dream rig that I’ve always wanted, the sound that I’ve always wanted. I have a few Boss pedals for the FX loop, delay, chorus, eq, flanger, Harmonist, but having the right guitar(s) and amp pairing really makes it happen.

Congrats, great looking ESPs!
Are E2 nearly as good as older MIJ guitars?

I’m not real familiar with the older ESPs, but I am familiar with the RG prestige Ibanez and these ESPs blow them outta the water, man! Tone and playability. The active pickup option was a definite plus, and the craftsmanship and quality control on these ESPs is awesome, I checked everything on them, couldn’t find any mistakes. I sold all my Ibanez guitars to by one ESP. I heard about the rebranding of the ESP standard to the E2 series, it’s just a name, I think the Tokyo factory is still making an excellent product. I just tell people, it’s still got ESP on the 12 fret inlay, just got E2 M2 on the headstock. No biggie to me, the guitars speak for themselves when you play them and hear them. Especially through my Marshall JVM410H. ROCK ON BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!
